​​At Heritage Nursery, our mission is simple: to preserve the historical knowledge and traditions that have shaped our community while honoring the legacies of places like Cottage Gardens, a beloved staple in Lansing since 1923. Cottage Gardens is known for its deep love of plants and nature, and we’re dedicated to carrying that passion forward. Our goal is to continue cultivating healthy, vibrant plants and to share that love for gardening with our community.

We plan to refresh the nursery’s infrastructure to ensure an efficient and satisfactory customer experience. We will be announcing our official opening date in the near future. For the 2025 season, we’ll be open for wholesale and retail customers, starting with a core selection of plants and trees. As the season progresses, we’ll expand our inventory. If we don’t have what you’re looking for, we are planning on offering special orders with deliveries 1-2 times per week.
